Rosi Sexton
Rosi Sexton is the current Cage Warriors Female World Champion with an MMA Record of 8-1-0 and trains out of SBGUK in Manchester, England. Fighting at 125lbs Rosi is 5 ft 4in tall and is 30 years old.
She is an experienced Grappler and Submission fighter with 9 years MMA training experience and holds a Black Belt in Tae Kwon Do. Her coach, Karl Tanswell of SBG is also her partner to whom they have a young son.
Not content with the physical side of her talents, Rosi also holds a PhD theoretical computer science (Manchester), 1st class maths degree (Cambridge) and is currently studying to become an Osteopath. Rosi has fought in the USA, UK, Costa Rica, Russia and Canada and is unbeaten in BodogFIGHT defeating; Carina Damm, Windy Tomomi & Julia Berezikova.
A regular contributor to Fighters Only magazine she has been the focus of numerous television documentaries & press articles and a notable fight fact is that she successfully defended her CWFC Title against Dina Van Den Hooven, just seven months after giving birth to her son.
After recently signing a 3 fight deal in the USA for Elite XC, Rosi fought and defeated veteran Debi Purcell on August 15th which was broadcast on CBS Showtime in the USA. Sky News TV Feature.
