Welterweight battle between Matt Inman and Brad Wheeler tops a quartet of top-quality matchups added to Cage Warriors’ June 2 return to London.

Cage Warriors’ return to Indigo at The O2 will see a clutch of promotional stars returning to the venue looking to further their championship aspirations on June 2.

Both Matt Inman and Brad Wheeler were in action at Cage Warriors 80 last time an event was staged at the venue, though the two welterweights experienced strikingly different outcomes.

While Wheeler claimed an impressive TKO stoppage of fellow veteran Warren Kee, Inman found himself on the wrong end of a TKO finish as Frenchman Karl Amoussou captured the vacant Cage Warriors welterweight title.

Inman returns on June 2 looking to bounce back into title contention with a victory over Wheeler in a hotly-anticipated clash of two of Britain’s most seasoned and respected 170-pounders.

Also scheduled for CW84 is a pivotal bout in the Cage Warriors lightweight division. Tom Green is riding an impressive 10-fight win streak and has designs on a shot at the Cage Warriors lightweight title, currently held by Chris Fishgold.

Green will take on Denmark’s heavy-handed Alexander ‘Bad Romance’ Jacobsen, whose one-punch KO of Tim Wilde at the Indigo back in February put the rest of the division on alert.

Also on the card, Norway’s Håkon Foss returns to action against ‘The Thundercat’ Craig White in another welterweight clash.

Foss is riding a four-fight, four-finish win streak heading into the bout with rising prospect White, who picked up the most impressive victory of his career in his last outing when he submitted previously undefeated Norwegian Thomas Robertsen at CW80.

And it’s a battle between France and England at flyweight as Iurie Bejenari looks to extend his four-fight win streak against 7-1 Sam Creasey.
