Men’s grooming range and barber stores, Pall Mall Barbers, have announced its brand sponsorship with Cage Warriors Fighting Championship. The sponsorship starts with the forthcoming CW Unplugged and will run through to the end of 2017.
“I’ve been a fan of MMA and Cage Warriors for many years and to have the opportunity to support a sport that is growing in popularity and getting great airtime around the world, is great,” said managing director of Pall Mall Barbers Richard Marshall.
“Barbering is also having its time in the spotlight and our being part of the grass roots of CW, both in and outside the octagon, is ideal.
“We’ll be hosting pop up shave, hair, and beard trims treatments on fight nights and also be visible in the octagon with the fighter’s corner area and the Cut Mans’ gloves being branded.
“There’s real history with barbers and the medical field; barbers used to be surgeon’s years ago and practiced blood-letting, dentistry and minor surgery which is why barber stores around the world have the red and white poles outside, so linking with the Cut Man and being part of their essential physio equipment brings the heritage of barbering full circle.
“It’s a nice touch sponsoring the Cut Man and branding their gloves.”
Commenting on the partnership Warriors Development Agency, CEO Casimir Knight said: “We are delighted to welcome Richard and the Pall Mall Barbers team to the Warriors family.
“The PMB brand and activities have a good fit with our fan base and fighters, and we’re looking forward to a great partnership.”
Pall Mall Barbers shops are located in Trafalgar Square, Fitzrovia, Westminster, Bishopsgate and the product range is available on www.pallmallbarbers.com
