Cage Warriors – Europe’s Leading MMA Organisation – has today confirmed the return of one its favourite sons. Following a two-fight run in the UFC, former CW featherweight world champion Jordan ‘The Epidemic’ Vucenic has resigned with the promotion on an exclusive, multi-fight deal.

In further news, it has been confirmed that Vucenic will make his return to action in the Famous Yellow Gloves at CW 196 in London, on Saturday, November 15th.

An opponent for the highly anticipated homecoming will be announced in due course.

Vucenic (13-4) had some of the most memorable nights of his career fighting at London’s indigo at The O2, with his entertaining fight style, unquestionable heart and iconic walkouts to Chase & Status’ ‘All Goes Wrong’ making him a cult hero to Cage Warriors fans.

The Corby man’s CW tenure included wins over Paul Hughes, James Hendin, Simone D’Anna and Morgan Charriere. He picked up the vacant CW featherweight world championship in a split-decision victory over Charriere in March 2021, before successfully defending against Hendin the following year.

Prior to signing with the UFC in 2024, Vucenic had strung together a quartet of submission wins, ending with a move to lightweight, where he has plied his trade since. Officials have confirmed that the 29 year old intends to compete in the 155lb weight class upon his CW return.

Vucenic will be aiming to follow in the footsteps of Nic Dalby, Modestas Bukauskas and Rhys McKee in returning to the UFC following a second stint in Cage Warriors.
