Voting is underway for the Cage Warriors Best of 2025 Awards, where you – the CW fans – get to have your say on the most deserving fights, fighters and moments from what has been a blockbuster 12 months for Europe’s Leading MMA Organisation!
Today we’re taking a look at perhapse the most visually appealing category of the bunch, as we cast our minds back through some of the year biggest, best and most brutal knockouts! From spinning backfists to flying knees, 2025 had it all!
The nominees are…
Marc-Phillipe Ngatchou’s spinning backfit
Cresent kick into a spinning backfist? Not something you see every day, but why not? Ngatchou had tried the old spinarooni a couple of times in the first round to no avail, but as the old saying goes…”If at first you don’t succeed, try, try again”.
And always bet the under.
Yannick Bahati’s four-second starcher
You have to feel bad for Charles Joyner, because this one is going to be played over, and over, and over again. And so it should be; Yannick Bahati’s four-second finish is the fastest in Cage Warriors history and – from my literally minutes of research – the fastest in any notable MMA organisation full stop.
Ollie Sarwa’s brutal blitz
Taking a break from winning ‘Best Nickname’ awards the world over, Ollie Sarwa is here with a bit for a much more serious (and – crucially – real) award. One of the only things more dangerous than power is power + pressure, and that’s exactly what Sarwa put out there earlier this year in London.
Kadeem Perkins’ over Ciaran Brady’ *chef’s kiss* knee
They don’t come much more pitch-perfect than this. An absolute diamond of a knee, right on the point of the jaw. All the power of a vintage Wanderlei with all the tekkers of a vintage Anderson. No Silva here though, this was pure gold from GB Top Team’s Kadeem Perkins.
Sean Clancy’s show closing two-piece (no soda required)
Three-piece and a soda? Keen to outdo virtually every expectation set of him, Sean Clancy Jr served up a two-piece so meaty that no third course was required, nor a soda to wash it down. The last blow in the last fight on the last show of the year…what a way to finish.
