Brown vs Davies for Lightweight Gold

The Cage Warriors Lightweight Championship will be on the line when Omiel Brown meets unbeaten Welsh contender Ieuan Davies in Manchester.

Brown will make the first defence of the title he captured with an impressive performance at CW 202, cementing himself as the undisputed lightweight champion. He enters the contest with a professional record of 13-3 and is currently riding a seven-fight winning streak.

Standing opposite him will be one of the UK’s brightest prospects. Davies remains undefeated at 7-0 as a professional and most recently handed Michael Pagani the third loss of his career at CW 202.

Now, the pair will battle for the biggest prize at 155lbs.

Fletcher Returns Against Henrique

Fan favourite Nathan Fletcher returns to action against Brazil’s Rony Henrique in a pivotal bantamweight contest.

Fletcher continues his pursuit of title contention and a return to the UFC, bringing a professional record of 10-3 into the contest. Renowned for his grappling prowess, seven of his ten professional victories have come via submission.

Henrique, meanwhile, will have the opportunity to secure one of the biggest wins of his career to date against one of Cage Warriors’ most recognisable names.

Ingram Faces Vetrila

The lightweight division remains in focus as Shay Ingram takes on fellow prospect Marin Vetrila of Romania.

One of the UK’s fastest-rising talents, Ingram enters the contest with a perfect 5-0 professional record and is currently riding a remarkable 14-fight winning streak dating back to his amateur career.

Vetrila will be looking to halt Ingram’s momentum and announce himself on the Cage Warriors stage, making this a fascinating clash between two fighters with plenty to prove.

Staines Meets McCarthy

Also confirmed for CW 207 Manchester is an intriguing lightweight clash between George Staines and Ireland’s Conor McCarthy.

McCarthy enters the contest with an unblemished 6-0 professional record and has already amassed four victories under the Cage Warriors banner. “The Hotstepper” most recently stopped Edilson Silva in the opening round at CW 200 and has finished half of his professional wins inside the distance.

Expect a high-paced encounter in Manchester as this one is set to be an absolute banger.

CW 208: London

Bagley Defends Featherweight Title

Fresh from capturing Cage Warriors gold, Nik Bagley will make the first defence of his featherweight title against former challenger Aiden Lee.

Bagley enters the contest with an impressive 8-1 professional record and has won six consecutive fights since suffering the only defeat of his career in 2022. The Great Britain Top Team standout claimed the vacant featherweight championship with a unanimous decision victory over previously unbeaten Solomon Simon at CW 200, cementing his status as one of the UK’s top featherweight prospects.

Standing opposite him will be one of the division’s most experienced campaigners. Lee brings a 15-10 professional record into the contest and enters on a two-fight winning streak, earning submission victories over Damon Wilson and Inglesson De Lara to secure another shot at Cage Warriors gold.

With youth and momentum meeting experience and veteran savvy, the featherweight title clash promises to be one of the standout contests of the summer.

Vucenic Takes on Ashmouz

Former CW featherweight champion Jordan Vucenic returns to lightweight action against UFC veteran Yanal Ashmouz.

Vucenic enters the contest with a professional record of 15-4 and remains one of the most accomplished fighters in Cage Warriors history. Following his return to the promotion, the former champion is firmly in the hunt for another run at championship gold.

Ashmouz brings UFC experience and an 8-2 professional record into the London showdown, setting up one of the most intriguing lightweight matchups of the summer.

With both men harbouring ambitions of a return to the UFC the contest could have major implications for either fighter.
