Cage Warriors – Europe’s Leading MMA Organisation – has today confirmed a huge lightweight title fight for CW Manchester, with champion Ieuan Davies set to make the first defence of his belt against former UFC fighter and Cage Warriors veteran Jordan Vucenic.

Tickets for CW Manchester are available here!

The pair will meet in one of the biggest fights in Cage Warriors history, live from the BEC Arena on November 28th.

Davies (8-0) will make the first defence of his Cage Warriors lightweight title after capturing gold in the very same arena at CW 207, submitting Omiel Brown in the first round of an incredible title fight.

The undefeated Welshman dismantled the former champion to claim the belt and will now face one of the most experienced lightweights on the Cage Warriors roster in his first title defence.

Standing opposite him will be former featherweight champion Jordan Vucenic (16-4), who has won three consecutive fights since returning from the UFC and now has his sights set on becoming a two-weight Cage Warriors World Champion.

The Englishman is coming off a stunning knockout against Daniel Konrad at CW 203 London followed by a clinical win versus Nonato Junior.

Vucenic will also make his first Cage Warriors appearance outside the capital since CW 116 in 2020, as he returns to Manchester looking to add another world title to his collection.

Cage Warriors Matchmaker Ian Dean said:

“Jordan Vucenic has earned his shot at greatness the hard way, and now has the opportunity to join a list of two-weight champions.

“For Ieuan Davies, this is his chance to defend his status as undisputed against one of the very best lightweights in Europe and a Cage Warriors legend.

“It will go down as one of the biggest fights in CW history. We can’t wait for November 28th.”

Further bouts are set to be announced in due course.
