Gustavo Sousa is the new Cage Warriors Middleweight World Champion after defeating Paddy McCorry in just over a minute in the CW 210 Dublin main event.
The Brazilian secured the choke early against the fence before putting his opponent to sleep with a brutal D’Arce choke, securing the Middleweight belt in an underdog upset for the ages.
In the co-main event, Maximus Lally continued his momentum, maintaining his undefeated record after overcoming some early adversity en route to a TKO finish, which earned him a £1,000 Performance of the Night bonus courtesy of That Prize Guy.
There was a second Brazilian upset on the main card as Anderson Soares secured a submission of his own, tapping out Ger Harris in the second round with a triangle choke.
A second POTN bonus was handed to Keith Keogh, who blew the roof off the sold-out RDS Arena with another impressive performance in his return to the main card.
Conor McCarthy earned the final POTN bonus with a statement performance in the lightweight division, blitzing Dumitru Girlean with a flurry of punches to secure a second-round TKO win.
Opening the main card was an all-Irish bout that saw Kenny Mokhonoana secure bragging rights over Solomon Simon in a hometown clash, winning all three rounds to place himself firmly in the chase for the 155lb belt.
Oliver Tero returned to winning ways with a career-best victory over rising Irish star Lewis Byrne, taking his undefeated record in the process after winning all three rounds on enemy territory.
Elsewhere on the prelims, there were Irish wins for Ronan Deegan in his Cage Warriors debut and Senan Coakley, who had the opportunity to have his hand raised in front of a home crowd in the famous Yellow Gloves.
A trio of huge underdog upsets kicked off the prelims, with Miguel Haro, Jordan Walters and Cristiano Oliveira all spoiling the party early at a sold-out RDS Arena.
