Luke Shanks also recorded a win inside the opening frame, as the ex-flyweight title-holder saw off the challenge of Josh Reed.
Elsewhere on the card, Tom Mearns and Oban Elliott were also victorious, while the opening bout of the night ended in a majority draw after George Tanasa was penalised with a two-point deduction for an illegal knee against Scott Pedersen.
