Just 24 hours ahead of Saturday night’s stacked CW 168 card, the fighters took to the scales at Manchester’s Park Inn Hotel on Friday morning.
The event will feature a pair of title bouts, as Liam ‘Nightmare’ Gittins defends his newly won bantamweight strap against Roberto ‘Green Light’ Hernandez, while Andy Clamp and Matty Byfield contest the vacant light heavyweight gold.
Blackledge MMA’s Clamp came in comfortably under the championship weight at 202.9lbs, while Team Renegade’s Byfield was slightly lighter at 202 even.
Word were exchanged between Gittins (134.5lbs) and Hernandez (134.5lbs) in keeping with the pair’s back-and-forth animosity during the build up to their UFC Fight Pass Exclusive title bout.
Only one fighter needed additional time to make weight, with Michelangelo Lupoli initially tipping the scales at 126.3lbs, before returning within the two-hour grace period to hit 126 even.
