Cage Warriors – Europe’s Leading MMA Organisation – have once again bolstered their already expansive roster with a host of new signings and multi-fight contract extensions.
The move renews the promotion’s commitment to developing and platforming the best up-and-coming talent in mixed martial arts, from the UK, Europe and beyond.
Among those committing their immediate future to the organisation are Ireland’s Ger Harris, who made his promotional debut at CW 161 in his home city of Dublin, turning in an impressive, crowd-pleasing display to out-point Ryan Hewitt.
Yorkshire-based welterweight Furqan Cheema has also put pen to paper on a multi-fight agreement. ‘The Lion’ has finished all five of his professional victories within the distance.
Returning to the promotion after a five year absence is Team Renegade’s Aiden Lee. The former featherweight title challenger has competed eight times under the CW banner, most recently at CW 100 in late 2018.
Another man back in the yellow gloves after an extended break is Scotland’s Keir Harvie.
The Higher Level Athlete last saw action in the promotion in June 2021, submitting Manny Akpan in the first round.
Italian flyweight Emanuele Tetti has also penned a multi-fight deal, following a pair of impressive finishes in his first two CW outings.
In addition to the new signings, a number of CW athletes have signed new multi-fight extensions with the promotion.
Irish brothers Adam and Ryan Shelley, recent title challenger Reece McEwan and bantamweight contender Aidan Stephen have all extended their terms with the European leader, as has fan-favourite lightweight James Power.
