We’re just a week away from Cage Warriors’ highly anticipated return to London, as the Summer Series reaches a soaring crescendo with CW 192! It’s a card packed with fast and furious finishers, the kind of athletes that allow judges to steal a living with their propensity for getting things done before the final bell.
Final tickets for CW 192: London are availible here!
So as the final countdown commences, what better time to take a look at some of the finest finishes from the stars of CW 192?
Brad Wheeler: Something from the vault to kick things off, as one of Cage Warriors biggest London fan favourites makes a long-overdue return to Europe’s Leading MMA Organisation. Last time we saw ‘The Crazy Kid’ in the Famous Yellow Gloves, he was taking on fellow veteran John Maguire, pulling off a furious finish in the process.
Shaj Haque: The champ is here! Defending flyweight champion Shaj ‘Superman’ Haque returns off the back of a two year hiatus to remind the world exactly why he’s one of the sport’s best flyweights. Known for his tactical genius, Haque also has the power to put opponents away in the blink of an eye, as he demonstrated when capturing the title from Sam Creasey.
Jawany Scott: When talking about fabulous finishing ability, we can’t deny the other half of our flyweight title bout – Jawany Scott – a mention. Scott’s slick boxing and relentless pressure have lead to some scintillating performances over the years, but his last outing against Jonny Touma in London truly proved his championship calibre.
Anthony Orozco: Undefeated American prospect Anthony Orozco has been dominating opponents through all six of his professional fights here in Cage Warriors. Usually known for his relentless groundwork, Orozco showed a new string to his bow last time out, crushing boxer Dominico Salas with a series of thudding body shots.
Shirzad Qadrian: In 2024, Shirzad ‘The Lion’ Qadrian changed his life in the $50,000 PrizeFighter tournament. Back in 2023, after coming up short against rival-turned-training partner Weslley Maia in his Cage Warriors debut, Qadrian pulled off one of the best bounce-back victories in recent memory, taking out the teak-tough Rory Evans.
Cameron Else: When you want a nail-biting brawl or a crazy finish, you know what to do…SEND IN THE PARA! Cameron Else has always been reliable for edge-of-the-seat action, and that was never more true than in his Cage Warrior debut, where he pulled off this shocking submission against Paddy Pimblett!
Leon Hill: Another Cage Warriors fan favourite making a long awaited return to action at CW 192 is Drogheda, Ireland’s Leon Hill. The Professional has finished ever opponent he’s beat in the professional ranks, so picking just one to highlight is quite the task. One of his most convincing performances came at CW 158 in 2023, against top lightweight challenger Dumitru Girlean.
Naglis Kanišauskas: He may have come within inches of capturing Cage Warriors gold on the judge’s scorecards in Italy earlier this year, but we shouldn’t forget that he earned that title shot by forging a reputation as one of the division’s most dangerous finishers. Back at CW 175 he took on fellow prospect Leon Naumann, with devastating results.
Cage Warriors 192 goes down on Saturday, July 12th, broadcast live on UFC Fight Pass and international broadcast partners.
