Unfortunately, Cage Warriors’ upcoming trilogy will be held behind closed doors due to government Covid-19 restrictions.
CW 123, CW 124 and CW 125, which take place from the 24th to 26th June, were due to see the long-awaited return of Cage Warriors fans to our events.
Announcing the events were behind closed doors, Cage Warriors president Graham Boylan, said: “The events will be behind closed doors, we will be operating under a bubble once again.
“We will not be allowing any of the public into the arena – the restrictions that are in place, and the lifting of those restrictions are too close to the date of the show.
“It’s not logistically possible between us, the venue and everything else that has to happen to allow the public in, in such a short space of time.”
During the Covid-19 pandemic, Cage Warriors has held 10 events behind closed doors, including three trilogies, allowing fans watching safely from home to keep enjoying European MMA action, and allowing fighters on the European MMA scene to showcase their skills to a global audience during an incredibly testing time.
Cage Warriors hopes to be able to have fans back in attendance at its September events, at a time when fans can return safely to enjoy shows live in arenas.
