Weigh-ins for CW 151: Unplugged took place on Thursday morning at London’s Crowne Plaza Hotel, with eleven bouts now official for the two-card event.
The vacant middleweight title will be contested in the evening’s final bout, as both Mick Stanton (184.5lbslbs) and Will Currie (184lbs) hit their championship marks with room to spare.
Show One’s main event is also official, as Team Renegade’s Matty Byfield (203.7lbs) and American veteran Prince McLean (205lbs) both made the light heavyweight limit comfortably.
Things got heated between former middleweight champ Matt ‘The Beast’ Bonner (185lbs) and Guilherme Cadena (184.2lbs) as they weighed-in for their Show One co-main event, with the pair engaging in an intense shoving match during their stare-down.
Steve Aimable needed additional time to make the featherweight limit, after initially tipping the scales at 147.3lbs. ‘Diddy Kong’ eventually weighed-in at 145 even for his Show Two co-main event against the debuting Alberth Dias (145.9lbs).
A previously announced featherweight bout between Matthew Camilleri and Aidan Stephen (who weighed-in at 145lbs) has been removed from the card at the eleventh hour, with Camilleri unable to compete following complications with his weight cut.
*UPDATE: Following the weigh-ins, the bout between Adrian Wieliczko and Shirzad Qadrian has been removed from the card, after Wieliczko was not medically cleared to compete.
