The weigh-ins for CW 152: Manchester took place at the Park Inn by Radisson Hotel on Friday morning with 26 fighters stepping onto the scales ahead of Saturday’s show.
Defending champion George Hardwick and challenger Yan Liasse tipped the scales at 154.1lbs ahead of their five round main event.
With both men being prolific finishers and neither having been finished in a combined 41 fights across the amateur and professional ranks, fans are no doubt in for a hellacious war of attrition.
Elsewhere on the main card, The Netherlands’ Daan Duijs (134.2lbs) and Liverpool’s Nathan Fletcher (134.3lbs) both came in comfortably under the 136lb bantamweight limit for their co-main event bout.
Chris Bungard was the sole competitor not to hit his mark, weighing in at 158.1lbs. Bungard opted not to cut any further weight; his bout against Gavin Hughes (153.1lbs) will go ahead regardless, with ‘The Bad Guy’ forfeiting a percentage of his purse.
