It’s fight week in Newcastle! For the first time in almost a decade, Cage Warriors – Europe’s Leading MMA Organisation – touches down in The Toon for another huge night of MMA action, live on UFC Fight Pass!
A pair of title fights will cap off a stacked, 15-fight card at the sold out Vertu Motors Arena this Saturday night.
In the evening’s main event, a new champion will be crowned in the bantamweight division, as Scotland’s Reece McEwan takes on Next Generation stalwart Liam ‘The Nightmare’ Gittins.
In the co-main event, middleweight king Mick Stanton will defend his title for the second time, as he takes on Italian rising star Dario Bellandi.
Elsewhere on the bill, UFC veteran Darren Stewart will look to extend his three-fight winning-streak against Serbian finishing machine Antonio Zovak, while Perry Goodwin returns for his final pro MMA fight against Holytown’s Chris Bungard.
Jack Eglin, Josh Abraham and Sergio Gavinelli have been removed from the card, after all three lost their scheduled opponents on fight week.
