The votes are in, the scores tallied and the results are out for what has been one of the most closely contested Cage Warriors End of Year Awards in recent memory. A number of categories went straight down to the wire, highlighting both our passionate fanbase and the sheer level of action and excitement in the CW cage over the last twelve months!

Without further ado, lets check out the full list of 2024 winners!

Fighter of the Year: Harry Hardwick (29.4%)

It was a two-horse race for the prestigious title of Cage Warriors 2024 ‘Fighter of the Year’, but when all was said and done, Harry ‘Houdini’ Hardwick would pick up the award for the first time, just edging out last year’s winner Luke Riley by just 43 votes. Hardwick had quite the year, capturing and defending the CW featherweight title; he’ll now look to carry that momentum into 2025, with his second defence scheduled for CW 186 in London.
2nd: Luke Riley (28.1%)
3rd: James Power (17.9%)

Breakthrough Fighter of the Year: Sean Clancy Jr (27.3%)

When voting opened for Breakthrough Fighter of the Year it seemed like Italy’s Alessandro Giordano was going to run away with it, but a late rally from the Scottish fans changed everything! After a period of going neck and neck, Sean Clancy Jr’s army of supporters carried the Paisley man to a healthy lead with 27.3% of the vote, enshrining him as CW’s latest breakout superstar ahead of his upcoming CW 187 main event!
2nd: Alessandro Giordano (22.6%)
3rd: Manuel Del Valle (20.3%)

Fight of the Year: Alessandro Giordano vs Michele Martignoni (23.4%)

In a year that saw us spoiled for choice when it came to incredible fights, despite thousands of votes, there were barely 100 nominations separating first and fourth place. When all was said and done though, an incredible 23.4% of you tipped your hat to the all-Italian derby between Alessandro Giordano and former CW champion Michele Martignoni in the reserve bout of our $50,000 PrizeFighter tournament.
2nd: Mason Jones vs Michael Pagani (22.3%)
3rd: James Power vs Daniel Kolasinski (19.9%)

KO of the Year: Luke Riley (28.3%)

He may have been pipped at the post for ‘Fighter of the Year’ honours, but previous multi-award winner Luke Riley was not going home empty handed in 2024s awards thanks to his blistering KO of Alexandre Junior at CW 178. With a juicy 28.3% of the total vote, Riley came in well ahead of the bone-jarring pack, which included some of CW’s most memorable finishes in recent years!
2nd: Mariusz Mikolajewski (22.6%)
3rd: James Power (21%)

Submission of the Year: Manuel Del Valle (33.8%)

A landslide victory for the ultra-popular newcomer Manuel Del Valle saw the Spaniard take home the Submission of the Year honours for his nifty Anaconda choke against Sergio Gavinelli in Italy. An incredible 33.8% of voters turned out for ‘Mouzid’; a testament to his connection with the CW fans, particularly in light of him being up against Mitchell Goode’s Buggy Choke, among others!
2nd: Mitchell Goode (23.1%)
3rd: Solomon Simon (19.4%)

Moment of the Year: Hardwick Bros become simultaneous champions (29.4%)

With a whopping 29.4% of the total vote, you chose the feel good moment of Harry and George Hardwick becoming the first sibling combo to simultaneously hold CW gold as your moment of the year. This despite the fact that the brothers threw their weight behind fellow north-easterner Justin Burlinson to win the award. With Burlo coming a close second, perhaps he’ll get his moment in 2025 as he challenges for Cage Warriors gold at CW 188!
2nd: Justin Burlinson beats cancer (25.1%)
3rd: James Webb becomes two-weight champion (17.7%)
