Cage Warriors End of Year Awards 2024 – Vote Now!
Harry Hardwick
Harry Hardwick has had quite the year in the Famous Yellow Gloves. Having previously been in the corner while younger brother George captured and defended lightweight gold, he finally got his shot at featherweight glory in May.
After dispatching Orlando Wilson Prins to claim the crown, Hardwick defended it in a classic against Brazilian bulldozer Keweny Lopez in November.
Luke Riley
Luke Riley won the 2023 Cage Warriors Fighter of the Year Award by a landslide, claiming an incredible 41.6% of the votes. Now here’s back in the running for a second consecutive year.
Next Generation’s striking supremo remained perfect in 2024, emerging victorious against high-level American oposition in John De Jesus, before capping off the year with a KO of the Year contender against Brazilian Alexadre Junior. Still just 25 years old and undefeated at 10-0, Riley has the MMA world at his feet.
Mason Jones
The Cage Warriors veteran and former double champion returned to the scene of some if his greatest battles in 2023, but 2024 saw him put on some of his most violent performances to date.
First up was a stateside destruction of Bellator veteran Brice Logan, but Jones’ highlight of the year would come slightly closer to home. At CW 175 in Manchester, ‘The Dragon’ went toe-to-toe with Michael Pagani in a bout that will go down in CW history.
James Power
Three fights, three wins and two performances that earned KO/Fight of the Year nods. We’d say that’s a pretty successful year for England’s James Power, all said and done.
Power has cemented himself as a firm fan favourite thanks to performances like his wild brawl with Daniel Kolasiński at CW 172, and his blistering KO of Dumitru Girlean at CW 181. Could 2025 be his year for CW gold?
Shirzad Qadrian
At just 23 years of age, on the face of things you might expect Shirzad Qadrian to be vying for ‘Breakthrough Fighter of the Year’, or some kind of rookie award. Not quite.
Qadrian kicked off the year in style with an emphatic first round stoppage of Emanuele Zaccaria, but it was his performance in the $50,000 PrizeFighter Tournament – beating both Weslley Maia and Alexander Loof on the same night – that earns him his first nod for Fighter of the Year.
