Nathaniel Wood wins bantamweight title at Cage Warriors 84

Nathaniel Wood made Cage Warriors history as the first Londoner to capture Cage Warriors world championship gold when he knocked out Marko Kovacevic in the main event of Cage Warriors 84.

The bantamweight, a protege of British bantamweight legend Brad ‘One Punch’ Pickett, produced the most impressive performance of his 14-fight MMA career to capture the vacant Cage Warriors 135lb title at London’s Indigo at The O2.

Cage Warriors’ resident shooter Dolly Clew was on hand to capture the action as it unfolded, and you can relive the action in the gallery above, with Dolly’s best shots from Wood’s historic title win.

Cage Warriors is Europe’s leading and longest-running mixed martial arts promotion.
