Cage Warriors – Europe’s Leading MMA Organisation – has today confirmed news of a massive flyweight title bout for its upcoming return to London. Fresh off his stunning title victory in Newcastle at CW 199, French powerhouse Nicolas Leblond will make the first defence of his belt against London’s own Jawany Scott.

CW 203 tickets are availible here!

The pair will meet over five rounds as part of the CW 203 main card on Friday, March 20th, at London’s indigo at the O2.

Massy, France’s Leblond (13-4) has established himself as one of the world’s best unsigned flyweights, and is currently ranked as Europe’s #1 at the weight by leading MMA record keeper Tapology.

A high-level Judo player with a blackbelt in Luta Livre, Leblond has forged a reputation as one of the division’s most devastating power punchers. That unique ability was on display in his last contest, when he captured the flyweight world title from champion Shaj Haque in a sensational 25th minute comeback.

Despite being down on the scorecards, the Frenchman was able to rock and submit the champion in dramatic scenes, a finish that has been dubbed one of the greatest comebacks in MMA history.

East London’s Jawany Scott (8-2) will be challenging for the flyweight title for a second time on March 20th. The GB Top Team man faced Shaj Haque for the gold in the summer of 2025, losing out by way of a razor thin split decision despite a surging finish where he appeared to have the champion beat.

He recently returned to the winner’s circle in November, defeating top Italian contender Michelangelo Lupoli over three hard-fought rounds at CW 196. 7-1 in his last eight, Scott also holds impressive wins over Jonny Touma, Ger Harris and Davide Scarano.

“The flyweight division is on fire…” said Cage Warriors President Graham Boylan, “…and we’re going to heat things up even more with a huge title bout in London!”

“Nicolas Leblond is the #1 125lb’er in Europe, and he’s ready to defend his title and keep up the momentum from one of the greatest comebacks of all time.”

“Jawany Scott came agonisingly close to becoming a world champion once before, he wont want to let it slip through his fingers a second time.”

“With the UFC in town the following night, Cage Warriors is once again kicking off the biggest weekend of MMA in the UK, and there’s plenty more to come!”

Leblond vs Haque is the first bout to be officially confirmed for CW London, with additional fights expected to be confirmed in the coming weeks. Tickets for the event – which will air live on UFC Fight Pass – are on sale here.
