Cage Warriors middleweight contender Paddy McCorry has earned a call-up to Dana White’s Contender Series, where he’ll fight for a UFC contract on Week 6 this Tuesday!

The Fight Academy Ireland prospect is no stranger to the UFC Apex, having already competed there under The Ultimate Fighter banner, with Dana White cageside for the reality series.

Earlier this year, McCorry bounced back from a cancelled bout at CW 188 Dublin to defeat rising prospect Shuki Farage in a heated clash in Rome.

That dominant unanimous decision win in the Eternal City pushed him toward the top tier of contenders in the Cage Warriors middleweight division.

The DWCS call-up arrives just before McCorry would have been in line to face reigning champion Dario Bellandi, who is set to defend his belt at CW 195 Rome on October 4th.

Now riding a four-fight win streak since dropping his promotional debut to former light heavyweight champ James Webb, McCorry says he’s never felt better.

“Rolling into fight week feeling more dangerous than ever,” McCorry said upon his arrival in Las Vegas. “Time to get this contract and bounce!”
