The Next Gen standout secured a first-round rear-naked choke submission over Chester’s George Plevin in the main event, marking a milestone in his amateur career as he headlined inside the iconic Cage Warriors cage for the first time.
Every athlete who competed on the historic card received a pair of amateur Yellow Gloves, commemorating their Cage Warriors experience and participation in the promotion’s new developmental platform.
In the co-main event, John Stanley made the most of a short-notice opportunity, earning a hard-fought unanimous decision victory after stepping in with only a few days to prepare.
Muhammad Al-Mahi served notice to the amateur heavyweight division with an impressive arm-triangle choke submission over Tyler Smith.
North Wales Academy’s Kyle Davies enjoyed a dream Cage Warriors debut, needing just 43 seconds to submit Muhammad Ammaar with a clinical display of finishing ability.
Representing Manchester Top Team, local favourite Ali Myumyun delighted the home crowd with a unanimous decision victory over Guy Calpin after three closely contested rounds that could easily have swung either way.
Next Gen’s strong night continued as Bobby Barker followed up the gym’s earlier success by producing a dominant unanimous decision win over Haseeb Nazir, sweeping all three scorecards.
The junior portion of the card also delivered a host of standout performances.
Anthony Demellweek impressed on his long-awaited Cage Warriors debut, earning a flawless unanimous decision victory with UFC star Molly McCann cheering him on from cageside.
Hassan Dilshad also enjoyed a successful promotional debut, securing a unanimous decision win after an entertaining three-round contest.
Elsewhere, Albie King, Bobby Burgess and Brannon Schoales all recorded submission victories to help launch the junior leg of the inaugural Amateur Academy event in style.
