A massive heavyweight clash heads to the Liverpool Exhibition Centre when rising North West star Tom Aspinall takes on top French heavyweight Sofiane Boukichou on February 16th.
Tom Aspinall is fast becoming one of the most talked-about heavyweight fighters on the North West scene, having finished every one of his professional wins within the distance. He’s a long-time training partner of UFC Welterweight contender Darren Till, and a former sparring partner of unbeaten British boxing superstar Tyson Fury.
The North West has a history of producing top heavyweight boxing talent, including Fury himself and ex British, English, and Commonwealth champion David Price. Now, Aspinall is dead set on becoming the first MMA world champion heavyweight from the region, and that journey continues at CW101.

Meeting him on February 16th is Sofiane Boukichou, a French fighter currently riding a 4-fight win streak. Boukichou finished his last two Cage Warriors fights with both knockout and submission, proving his skill set is rounded enough to end the fight in all areas.
With a number of Liverpool fighters now in the UFC, including Tom Aspinall’s teammate Darren Till and former Cage Warriors champions Chris Fishgold and Molly McCann, the city’s fight scene is thriving and has never been stronger.
Tickets for CW101 are still available through the Liverpool Exhibition Centre website HERE.
