Omar Tugarev is the newest Cage Warriors World Champion after defeating James Power in the main event at CW Manchester.

The 23-year-old Finnish fighter secured a TKO finish in the 3rd round after some dominant ground-and-pound in a crucifix position to become the interim lightweight champion.

In the co-main event, Michael Pagani snipped his opponent with a lethal right hand to secure his biggest win to date over CW veteran Tim Wilde.

Lucas Cruz got his sweet victory over heated rival Adam Cullen after landing some clean punches into a submission that sent his opponent to sleep.

It was Torpal Merjoev who kept his 0 after a clash of undefeated prospects between him and Teddy Stringer, which ended in a swift and slick submission for the 20-year-old.

Omiel Brown got the biggest win of his career after pulling off only the 3rd bulldog choke in Cage Warriors history in our main card.

While his sparring, Shay Ingram also made moves in the lightweight division by securing his first finish in CW in a submission victory over local fighter Farukh Aligadzhiev.

Opening the main card in an elevated position, Connor Wilson versus Florian Doskja ended in a no contest after an accidental groin strike to the Scouser fighter.

In the prelims, there were career-best wins for Joe Fields and Ryan Campbell who shone the brightest in the opening fights. With Fields overcoming flyweight contender Davide Scarano, and Campbell showing ‘Relentless’ pace for the finish.

While Christian Soda and George Smith represented the 0161 with big decision wins over their respective opponents.
