It’s fight week in Dublin, the first of a pair of huge weeks of back-to-back action in the Famous Yellow Gloves! Cage Warriors – Europe’s Leading MMA Organisation – returns to the city’s iconic RDS, as the next wave of the Irish MMA Revolution continues in earnest with CW 194!
In unfortunate news, the previously announced bout between Solomon Simon and Aiden Lee will now no longer take place, after Lee withdrew due to injury. CW officials are expecting to announce fight news for Simon in the near future.
As a result, the welterweight bout pitting Brazilian knockout artist Luan Duarte against Drogheda’s Leon Hill has been elevated to main event status. Duarte will be looking to add to an impressive KO tally after coming up short in a spirited effort in his CW debut against Anthony Orozco, while Hill will be aiming to maintain his current winning streak and take a step closer to the 170lb title.
Elsewhere on the bill, the Irish MMA revolution continues as a number of rising stars and familiar faces return to action. Max Lally competes in his first Cage Warriors co-main event against the returning Ben Ellis, Adam Darby faces the undefeated Robert Constantin and Keith Keogh opens the main card in an all-Irish clash against Damien McKenna. Ryan Shelley, Ger Harris and Eimear Darcy are also set to strap on the Famous Yellow Gloves once again, while US favourite Anthony Orozco returns against Aldo Pereira.
